Hi, I am Tanay Ranjan, a graduated student from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, with the degree B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and currently pursuing M.Sc. in Robotic Systems Engineering at RWTH Aachen.

I am very eager to work on projects related to implementations of Controls and Learning Algorithms in Robotics.

Previously I have worked as a Project Associate I at AI & Robotics Lab under Prof. Suresh Sundaram at IISc Bangalore, where I have worked mainly on designing obstacle avoidance solution on a radar-equipped UAV.

I also have worked as an Undergraduate Research Intern in Robotics Research Center @ IIIT-Hyderabad, under supervision of Prof. Nagamanikandan Govindan. This research served as my Bachelor’s thesis, focusing on the topic Motion Control of Mobile Manipulator
